About the role

We're looking for a Graduate Content Producer - Social Enterprise to help bring our student-led commercial spaces to life through bold, engaging and purposeful content.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the creative team at The University of Manchester Students' Union, working on the content for our bar, coffee shop, live music venues, merchandise and pop-ups. As a Graduate Content Producer - Social Enterprise, you''ll create content that captures the energy of student life and helps drive footfall, boost loyalty and support income generation across our social enterprise offer.

Our social enterprises include 532 Bar and Kitchen, Corridor Coffee, Union Threads merchandise, events, trips and more. These spaces are more than just places to hang out. They're a part of a model where 100% of profits are reinvested directly into services, campaigns and support for students. The Students' Union is a registered charity, separate from the University, and your work as a Graduate Content Producer - Social Enterprise will directly contribute to that mission.

You'll produce short-form video, photography and graphics for Instagram, TikTok, digital screens and other platforms. You'll support key campaigns, from freshers events and loyalty launches to food offers and merch drops. You'll also help shape our visual brand present day-to-day, working with the Marketing and Content Lead and collaborating with teams across Design, Events and Business Development.

We're looking for someone who understands student culture and knows what kind of content people stop to watch, scroll, and share. You don't need to be an expert in everything. Just ready to learn, curious, and full of ideas.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Able to plan, shoot and edit content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok
  • Familiar with tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express or Adobe Creative Suite
